This is the piece I'm working on now. I'll update it when it's finished, I just need to add in a few more details.

"I am NOT wearing polka dots," the five foot two woman proclaimed, drawing the attention of every customer in the store to her conversation with the young Victoria's Secret employee. The woman was rooted to the floor like a hacked tree stump. Her face was magnified by her glasses, allowing even the farthest person to see that it was now turning a deep purple.
Here is a preview to one of my next pieces.

Sunday morning doodles..
The sun formed a thick wall of heat, which had the neighborhood kids locked in their houses all day, staring at their cool lit TV screens. But when the sun disappeared behind the tall trees, and the heat died out in a puff, the kids turned their attention to the outside.
One by one, greenish yellow lights appeared and then faded amongst the blades of grass. The neighborhood doors began to open, and the kids emerged from their cool dens with mason jars and tiny minnow nets.
By this time, the greenish yellow lights were fading in and out of vision everywhere, adorning the trees like summer holiday lights. The beauty of this sight went completely unnoticed by the children, all they saw was a fun game of catch.
